About MUSIC PR
Thank you for using MUSIC PR.
PR can mean PRomotion, Press Release, or Public Relations. In other words, getting info and news to people.
MUSIC PR is a platform that brings a variety of music info and news to consumers and music industry people in Japan.
MUSIC PR content is created/posted by artists, bands, labels, and other people in the music industry in Japan and around the world. Content is curated by our staff.
MUSIC PR is developed and managed by JICS MEDIA (aka "JICS"), a pioneer in the internet industry promoting cultural exchange and international business with Japan since 1996.
Submit Your PR
Promote your music, release, video, playlist, event, or music-related business or product in Japan — the second largest music market in the world in terms of sales and number one in the world for spending per person on music and music-related products/services.
We accept submissions from people and companies in the music industry from any country such as artists, bands, record labels, artist management, music service providers, distributors, venues, concert promoters, music shops, music schools, ad agencies, publicists, music media, music instrument/gear manufacturers and sellers, music software/app companies, etc.
All submissions are reviewed by our staff and those that meet our specifications and standards for quality, content and accuracy are published in MUSIC PR. Japanese translation is free using AI machine translators such as Google Translate, ChatGTP and DeepL. Human translation/writing by professional linguists specializing in the music industry is also available for an additional fee.
Most submissions are reviewed, approved and published in MUSIC PR within 2-4 business days after confirming payment of the posting fee (if applicable). Major credit cards and PayPal are accepted. Fees shown are in US dollars.
