Launched in the summer of 2023. Natsudaidai is a project by singer Yo and track maker Nanae.
They self-produce everything from lyrics, composition, arrangement, recording, mixing, and artwork. They fuse Yo's unique singing voice with the sound based on the elements of black music created by Nanae to create a unique worldview.
In August 2024, they released their first EP "Seikaten" including a new song produced by Tomita Lab. It charted at 6th place on J-WAVE's "TOKIO HOT 100", which is unusual for a new artist, and their first release live Natsudaidai release party "fruits store" held in Tokyo on September 21st was sold out. They pursue a comfortable sound and invite you to a foreign soundscape.
