Dream-synth-pop-rock phenomenon Lakefield Temple was born the bedroom project of singer and synth player Randa Tobing but quickly transcended its humble beginnings to bring bigger crescendos and swirling, textured melodies to Boorloo stages.
Taking inspiration from new wave, Bruce Springsteen, 00's indie rock and modern shoegaze, Lakefield Temple aims to build a new world for listeners to become immersed within, exploring themes of regret, hope, love and loss amidst a gloss of reverbed out electric guitar and layered analog synthesis.
With guitarist Ben Szabadics, drummer Isaac Woodland, the multitalented Sam Dawson and newcomer Brook Craig on saxophone, Lakefield Temple are set for a string of exciting singles and can't-miss live shows.
