J.BLU (real name: Josh Blue) was born and raised in Newark, NJ in 1997 to father Mark Blue and mother Francine Davis.
J.BLU set his sights on following his father and uncle's footsteps. Father Mark and Uncle Robert have experience working in the music industry for Universal Music Group, Sony Music Group and Columbia Records.
J.BLU seized the opportunity to become a rap artist with the help of his Uncle Robert with countless hours in the music studio. At the age of 15, young Josh Blue found his niche in the music industry with his catchy tunes such as Al Pacino, The Country is Lying, East Coast West Coast and many more!
He became a writer and publisher for ASCAP publishing in the year of 2015 and now has his sights set on becoming the country's greatest entertainer!
J.BLU still performs shows in the community centers across New Jersey and sets his sights on doing a global tour in the near future with the help of family and friends!
