Dawnwalker is a post-metal band from London, blending emotional songwriting with heavy metal influences into a unqiue and mysterious sound all of their own.

Formed in London in 2012 and led by songwriter Mark Norgate, the band features a revolving cast of players that has includes folk, prog and metal influences. In late 2020, Dawnwalker released 'Ages' to critical acclaim. The album tells the story of a mythical world in decline, with rising seas and great forest fires threatening all life as we know it. The songs often run over ten minutes in length and effortlessly move between quiet melodies and chaotic heavy metal. 'The Cataclysm' begins as a simple folk song but soon erupts into an epicl heavy metal ballad. 'Burning World' uses black and doom metal riffs to paint a picture of great fires and destruction on an epic scale.
