Born Silvia Casetta, known and respected in the music world as SIXBASS, she is a bassist and artist with an extraordinary sensibility. Her story is one of passion, downfalls, and rebirths. She began expressing herself through the arts at a very young age, finding the electric bass—which she first encountered in 1995—the perfect instrument to channel her inner strength.

From her early days with Sistema Nervoso (finalists at Sanremo Rock 2001) to significant experiences with Jigabitez, opening for Marco Mendoza and Stef Burns, and her stint with Five Ways to Nowhere, SIXBASS has always brought her gritty, visceral, and deeply personal style to the stage.

After a long, forced hiatus due to health reasons, SIXBASS has returned to the stage with renewed strength and an even more mature artistic awareness. After releasing her single Pioggia in April 2025 and participating in the Rock Musae event, she is now ready to write a new page in her musical history.
