Gervasio Provenzano, 31 years old from Parabita, was born on 13 February 1992 in Casarano (Le) and from an early age he cultivated an innate passion for singing. At the age of 13 he embarks on a vocational journey at the Diocesan Seminary of Nardò (Gallipoli-Lecce), attending at the same time the Artistic High School in the architecture sector and of the furniture. In the diocesan seminary he takes part in a private organ course and yes he is so passionate about the instrument that he continues his self-taught study. From an early age he noticed a strong connection between every single note and his soul; he starts like this compose and write his first songs, including “Mondo Zero”. “The first moment I touched a key for fun, I felt something strong inside me sensation; every note was a stairway to freedom. Life has wounded me, marked me and built me, it led me to be stronger, but above all myself, a warrior.” During his vocational journey Gervasio experiences a period of pain, feeling alone, marginalized and derided by society, a past that still hinders his experience and struggle today to defeat him. In his adolescence, his path was marked by an unstable situation between his parents his parents. The family, explains the singer-songwriter, has always been a point of reference: “If I saw my parents arguing, I would spend whole hours crying in my room on my pillow, while the sounds of breaking dishes and screaming became a trauma.” What made him feel free and carefree it was to go and turn on his keyboard, play loudly “while of the screams in the background hurt me more and more.” After finishing school he works as a labourer at his father's construction company. In 2015 he made his debut with the release of his first single "Mondo Zero". Subsequently, other songs will be released including “È questo la realita-”, “Hey Senorita” and “Tra dream and reality", with which he earned the National Semifinal of the Sanremo Area 2017. On the 26th February 2018 he published his song "L'immenso per Me", written and composed by himself Sanremo Giovani 2018. His previous stage name, “Niro” (acronym for “Non Importa Rinasco Ora”), it symbolized a change of which perhaps the author was not yet fully convinced; while the real change begins now, with the return to his real name. In September 2021 he participates as an official competitor of I BAND-PROGRAM TELEVISION BRANDED MEDIASET ON LA 5. ON 4 FEBRUARY 2022 HE WILL BE A GUEST AT SANREMO'S HOME TO PRESENT HIS UNRELEASED NEW " FEATHERS." September 25, 2022 brings a national victory of PROMOTE YOURS to his land MUSIC, which took place in Potenza at the Francesco Stabile Theatre, which saw more than one challenge 60 artists from all over Italy with the unreleased song FIDATI. On February 6, 2023 he was a guest on the GF Vip episode, presenting the his latest song RESTERÒ will be released on January 28, 2023. In October 2023 his label NIROMusicLabel was born

The latest success dates back to the publication of ANIME and RESTERÒ. The song LIBERA ME, presented this year at Sanremo 24, will be published soon in the proposals category. A song completely out of its characteristics, different from common, in which he reveals a strong bond between himself and God, a hymn to salvation, life and what truly belongs to us.
