Jah Bless (formerly known as Jah Blemz) born Rick Alvergo Bennett, incarnated on October 21, 1973 in Papine, St. Andrew, Jamaica. He grew up in Papine, an area heavily populated by run-away slaves and free communities at the turn of the century. Jah Bless always gravitated towards music as a youth and voluntarily performed at children's birthday parties of his neighborhood friends. During his adolescence at the age of 13, he met Clifton George Bailey Ill known today as "Capleton", "Father Moses" or "The Prophet" and they began to reside at the same residence.
