"Shallow Levée," an alternative folk-rock band from Kaohsiung, Taiwan, has released their third album, *Speak in Silence*, marking their 10th anniversary. They are also embarking on their largest-ever tour of Japan, spanning seven cities.
Hailing from Kaohsiung in southern Taiwan, the alternative folk-rock band Shallow Levée presents their third full-length album, *Speak in Silence*. The album features ten tracks that capture the band's current sound as they celebrate a decade together.
The album includes guest appearances by Japanese artist Reitaro Kimyo and South Korean saxophonist Kim Oki. By incorporating these diverse musical approaches, the band expands upon their signature delicate melodies and ensemble arrangements while continuing to sing in Taiwanese. The Japanese edition LP will be released on September 16 via BIG ROMANTIC RECORDS, pressed on gray vinyl.
Additionally, in October, the band will hold the "Shallow Levée Japan Tour 2026"—their largest tour to date—visiting Okinawa, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Tokyo, Kobe, Kyoto, and Nagoya. The Tokyo show will feature Reitaro Kimyo, who contributed to the album track "Promise of Yesterday." Each city will host different guest artists: Atsuko Hiyajo and Don Kubota in Okinawa; SATOSHOGO (MuchaMuchaM) and Momoko Iwasaki Foundation in Fukuoka; The Brash and Lily in Hiroshima; Nagakumo and Reiji to Komono (Nagakumo) in Kobe; and Sanki Takayama in Kyoto.
