Ano Pascoe began learning instruments at Christ's College High School, Christchurch, New Zealand, in the late 90's before being accepted to the University of Auckland Architecture School. Whilst studying he learnt cover songs then started to songwrite. By 2007/ 2008 he was performing at the Kings Arms Sunday Sessions and a gig at Wine Cellar in Auckland. He then returned to his home town, Christchurch, in 2009, where he formed a group, writing, performing and recording music in an ambient, dreamy, rock n roll pop style. From 2010 to today, he has created a back catalogue of recordings found on his bandcamp page, whilst performing in many of the small clubs in CHC, as well as 4 New Zealand tours. He has had good radio support from the Student Radio Bnet network, especially locally at RDU, including his song 'O Love' charting at No.2 in 2023 on the Te Ahi Top Ten Chart. A new backing group known as 'The Floating Moon' has formed, with Caleb Brand (bass), Braden Ramsell (keys), and Jono McMillian (drums). Plans for a new EP and possible tour being made, they would love to come to Japan!
