DOMi LOUNA is a duo consisting of keyboardist Domi Louna and drummer JD Beck. Born in France in 2000, Domi began playing piano and drums at the age of three. After graduating from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de France, she enrolled in Berklee College of Music in Boston. JD Beck, born in Dallas, Texas in 2003, began playing drums at the age of 10 and started his career as a producer at 12.

The two first met at the NAMM Show in 2018, where they were invited to perform by Robert Searight (Snarky Puppy, Ghost Note). They later performed together at Erykah Badu's birthday party and have since played regularly as a duo. Their performances quickly gained popularity through social media, leading to collaborations with renowned artists such as Herbie Hancock, Anderson .Paak, Thundercat, Flying Lotus, Louis Cole, and The Roots. Among their most talked-about achievements were "Them Changes," which they played with Ariana Grande and Thundercat at the 2020 Adult Swim Festival, and their collaboration on Silk Sonic's single "Skate" (Bruno Mars & Anderson .Paak).

In 2022, they signed with a new label launched by Anderson Paak and Universal Music called APESHIT Inc. and the prestigious Blue Note Records, releasing their debut album, *Not Tight*. Featuring renowned artists such as Anderson Paak, Mac DeMarco, Thundercat, Herbie Hancock, and Snoop Dogg, the album showcased their signature virtuosic technique and catchy melodic sense, becoming a hit. Their popularity in Japan was also high, with all of their 2023 and 2024 concerts selling out.
