Neugeborene Nachtmusik is a solo-project by
artist, music producer, DJ, and composer
M.Hermes. Known for his
post-industrial, trance-indulging style,
Neugeborene Nachtmusik is naturally drawn to
concepts that involve post-apocalyptic
ideas, transcending spiritual theories, and
ritualistic practices. Hermes’s artistic
practice is inspired by minimalism, tribal
cultures, and human behaviour, as well as
darker themes such as war, mass hysteria,
and witch hunts.
As Neugeborene Nachtmusik, Hermes has
created music for the 2011 (anti)Lab Rat
Exhibition in Breda, The Netherlands, composed
hostile soundscapes for Tim van den
Oudenhoven’s  bizarre Mixed-Media
performance 'Who cast the first stone?' in 2013, 
sonically guided a Butoh dance performance by 
Kaddish at the Institut für Zukunft in Leipzig (2014), 
composed the soundtrack for the short film 
Resonating (2015) directed by Frederick Klein,
and composed a sonic artwork for Collapse (2019), curated by Anais Janze Natera 
in Glasgow UK.

In 2015, Hermes released his
second album, Take Me To Your Healer, with
the Dutch cult label Enfant Terrible, in the following years 
has self-released a few albums on Bandcamp.
