Formed in Southern California, STATESIDE released their debut EP "It's What We Do" in 2023 through New Morality Zine and Extinction Burst Records. The band's name is taken from a Crime in Stereo album, and their sound, influenced by Fall Out Boy, Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, and Jimmy Eat World, as well as reminiscent of early Saves the Day and The Starting Line, has attracted attention.
Soon after their formation, they joined hardcore-focused lineups, performing at festivals like FOR THE CHILDREN and LDB FEST, electrifying audiences and sparking singalongs and stage dives. In 2024, they released the "Songs to Remember You By" EP on the same label, and in 2025, after signing with Pure Noise Records, they released their first album, "Where You Found Me." The lead single, "Stay Sweet," features Joe Taylor of Knuckle Puck. 2025 began by playing with ANXIOUS on their US tour, followed by opening on tours for KNUCKLE PUCK, ONE STEP CLOSER, THE STARTING LINE, FOUR YEAR STRONG, DRUG CHURCH, and STATE CHAMPS throughout the year. They also performed again at FOR THE CHILDREN in December of the same year, sharing the stage with TRAPPED UNDER ICE, THE STORY SO FAR, and MADBALL. In February 2026, they performed at LDB FEST again, and are scheduled to perform at Sound And Fury in August of the same year. Finally, in July of the same year, they will embark on their first Japan tour.
