The blurred city lights will surely illuminate you ⋆。˚

Blurred City Lights is a three-piece dreampop/shoegaze/post rock band formed in Nagoya in February 2022. Their catchy melodies, rooted in J-POP, are colored by a diverse range of sounds, from grand guitar soundscapes to delicate piano-centered arrangements. Their vocals, possessing both whispering delicacy and piercing power, have garnered support from listeners both domestically and internationally. While rooted in authentic shoegaze sound, their strength lies in their ability to transcend that genre with a wide range of expression.

After releasing four demo singles, they proudly released their 1st full album, "Tenshi no Inai Machi de" (In a City Without Angels), in February 2024. Despite being a self-release, 300 copies sold out in approximately one year. In February 2025, they released their 2nd full album, "Utopia/Dystopia." Their self-organized release commemorative live shows in Nagoya and Tokyo were a great success, attracting fans not only from within Japan but also from overseas. In November of the same year, they completed a tour of three cities in China, steadily expanding their presence both domestically and internationally.

Their single "Gekkou" (Moonlight), released in April 2026, is an ambitious work that builds upon their overwhelming shoegaze sound while pushing the bass and drums to a more aggressive and technical level. With a strong, catchy melody that doesn't get lost even amidst the roaring sound, it achieves a high level of balance between heaviness and catchiness.
