Audioleaf, Japan's largest independent band portal site, has announced that it will cease operations on July 25th of 2026.

Audioleaf launched in August 2005, providing access to music by independent bands and other artists, as well as the latest live performance information. Before the rise of music streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music, it supported many domestic independent bands.

The company announced, "Audioleaf will be ceasing all services on July 25, 2026."

They urged users to save any necessary information beforehand, as all data will no longer be accessible after the service ends, and expressed their gratitude for the long-standing support since the service's launch in August 2005.
