The Electricity In Your House Wants To Sing
I am Robot and Proud is a solo project by Shaw-Han Liem, a Chinese-Canadian living and working in Toronto, Canada. This is the 3rd album from 2006.

The music is "adorable," that's all I can say about it.
Rolling beats, a little bit understated density of sound, as if you can feel the space between melodies. And, of course, there are the tones that are offered in small doses.

The Electricity In Your House Wants To Sing" opens with a piano that seems to open the way to a new world. The song switches to electro without hesitation, but it starts to roll along without any sense of discomfort. On the other hand, #4 "Save Your Neck, Save Your Brother" features a saxophone and flute melody that makes you hear the sound of breathing. It forms a somewhat nostalgic outline. Live drums and acoustic guitars also appear on other songs, adding color to the music.
Another impressive track is #9, "A Man That Runs Too Fast," which features some of his signature dancing rock. You can enjoy the vertical groove that is a bit spicy and still understated.

The sound is very fitting with the artwork of a fluffy penguin that reminds me of a clay animation I used to watch. It is a gem to listen to on a cold winter morning while exhaling white breath.

For fans of what ?
The one that came to mind for me personally would be Serph. I also have a soft spot for Spencer Doran.
I recommend it to those who like quiet electronica and those who want to listen to music while taking a break.
