NINE RED MOONS RELEASES SINGLE "NO MAN'S LAND," WHICH BLENDS INFLUENCES FROM IRON MAIDEN, QUEENSRŸCHE, BLACK SABBATH, AND METALLICA.

The band Nine Red Moons debuts the single "No Man's Land" on all streaming platforms, accompanied by a lyric video on YouTube. The group, comprised of musicians from Brazil, the United States, England, Poland, and Greece, recently completed recording their debut EP, "Sumerian Songs for the Dead."

The compositions focus on traditional heavy metal, with influences from Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Metallica, and Queensrÿche. The lyrics explore themes such as ancient civilizations, Plato's myth of the cave, the phenomenon of transference in psychotherapy, the book Solaris, the Kabbalistic tree of life, and death," explains the project's mentor, guitarist Eduardo "Paulista" Simões (ex-Chakal and ex-Pit Passarell), who is responsible for writing all the music and lyrics.

The single "No Man's Land" features Eduardo "Paulista" Simões sharing solos with Hugo Mariutti (Shaman, Andre Matos, Viper, Henceforth, Remove Silence, and Wardeath). The lyrics, inspired by Plato's allegory of the cave, tell the story of a man who goes from seeing the world only through shadows on the walls of a cave to accessing truth and knowledge.

The single's cover art was created by Jean Michel of Agência DSNS and shows the character sitting on a neighboring planet, observing Earth and space. The lyric video, also by Jean Michel, connects the concept of the cave with the experience of someone who perceives the world only through a cell phone screen.

The project features vocalist Tasos Lazaris (One Machine, Steel Arctus, and Greek Iron Maiden tribute band Iron Beast), and guest appearances include Felipe Machado (Viper), Alan Wallace (Eminence), Edu Megale (The Mist), Juliano Dinelli (Dream Theater Cover), as well as producers Val Santos (Brutal Brega, Toy Shop, formerly of Viper) and Stanley Soares (Sepultura, Megadeth, Motörhead, Devin Townsend, Meshuggah, and others).

The second single, "Sumerian Songs for the Dead," will be released on October 17th and features lyrics inspired by ancient Sumerian sayings, as well as a guitar solo that incorporates excerpts from Mozart's opera The Magic Flute.

The full EP will be available starting October 24th.
