Isolated Youth was founded on March 1, 2017, in a small, frigid coastal town north of Stockholm by 15-year-old brothers Axel (vocals) and William (guitar), along with Egon (bass) and Andreas (drums). In
early 2019, they quietly released their debut EP, "Warfare," on a Greek label. However, it quickly caught the attention of music writers on the international post-punk scene.

Threshold magazine lauded the album, calling it "one of the most beautiful works of art that contemporary post-punk can be proud of in the past few decades." CVLT Nation listed them as "one of six post-punk bands you need to hear right now." Post-punk.com praised their "surprisingly authentic, early '80s, guitar-driven post-punk sound."

BIJRecords., which has been supporting the release of special albums and music video productions, is now planning not only the release of their latest full-length album in the summer of 2024, but also their long-awaited first visit to Japan!

Ringing guitars, hunting drums, and strong bass lines are combined with vocals characterized by delicate beauty, creating a one-of-a-kind aesthetic post-punk band.

At the time of their debut, they had a connection with Placebo, Suede, and Bauhaus, and even Japan (UK) in the past... This new band, a descendant of these charismatic bands, has arrived in Japan from Sweden.
