It Will Last "Mankind"
"Mankind" is the third and brand new album of the musician/teacher multi -instrumentalist and composer Simone Carnaghi and, specifically, is the second album of the discography of his IT Will Last project.
As has already happened for Simone's previous albums, "Mankind", the successor of "Nightmares in Daylight" produced by Simone himself and released in 2021 for the "Wanikiya Record" label, is the exclusive fruit of a single mind, his.
This is the main peculiarity of the album.
Simone has in fact dealt with the whole album as a true "One Man Band":
-composition and arrangement of all songs (music and texts).
-Execution and registration of all the tools for all the songs of the album
(electric and acoustic guitars, low, battery).
-The to this, the novelty for this album is to have dedicated itself as well as everything else also to all the solo voices.
Being a very personal album, Simone was driven by the strong desire to sing all his texts by totally immersing himself in his project "It Will Last" and thus consolidating the idea of "One Man Band".

Only for the choirs, being Simone very passionate about this element within the music, in addition to his backing vocals, they participated in the choirs (to have different vocal stamps available), also three other people, including his wife Maria ( as for the previous album), Daniel Reda (former solo singer on "Nightmares in Daylight") and finally, one of his other dear friends friend
Simone Delcinratolo.
"Mankind" is the result of so much passion for music and, specifically,
Heavy Metal and Hard-Rock with progressive influences.
There are many musical influences of Simone, starting from the beloved Iron Maiden of the eighties golden age, Savare, Judas Priest, Stryper, Dokken, Rush and many others.
Nowadays, after all these years, inventing something new in the musical field, has become very difficult, has already been experienced practically almost everything. "Mankind" represents for Simone, the research and the choice of elements present in Heavy Metal/Hard Rock music, and not only, so dear and appreciated to him.
These various elements have been revisited with his musical idea, trying to give a touch of personality to the songs and, above all trying to avoid following any type of "trend/fashion".
"Mankind" speaks of the selfishness of the human being, in all its forms, towards others and the world in which we live.
All this leads to sad consequences that tend to worsen more and more every year that passes.
Very little would be enough, even the smallest gestures could really improve many things.
Simone's message in his songs is strong, it is an album full of emotions. Despite all the theme of hope, however, is always present.
Simone Carnaghi is a multi -instrumentalist musician (bass/guitar/battery), composer/arranger, as well as a teacher of bass, drums, guitar and overall music with many years of teaching experience (since 2006).
His great passion for the composition began very early and after the first various demos in early 2000, in 2011, his first album as a multi -instrumentalist entitled "Slender Hopes" was released.
This project was rather different from Simone's current compositions for his albums "It Will Last", however he was a great source of inspiration and the beginning of an ambitious path from a musical point of view, wanting to take up immediately in total autonomy of All compositions, tools recordings and more.
The "IT will last" project comes to life at the end of 2018 "Nightmares in
Daylight "(2021) was the first CD-Album" It Will Last ".
The entire album was written, played (all tools), recorded, mixed and ... burned by Simone in his private study in Rescaldina (Mi).
"Nightmares in Daylight" is a concept album that speaks of aspects that are slowly "consuming" the world in which we live.
A few years later, here is the new "Mankind" concept album the continuation and above all the evolution of the previous "Nightmares in Daylight", especially in the music, is in fact a very articulated album, never taken for granted, rather unpredictable in the structure and arrangement of the various Songs. It is an album that requires more listening, being full of details.
At the moment the "IT will last" project does not plan to be brought to the stage, but ... the rest of the story is still to be written ...
