Yarima Blanco's impressive dexterity on the Cuban tres has been honed through years of studies at Cuba's venerable music institutions and subsequently on the international jazz scene with the Anacaona ensemble. She formed Son Latino in 2015, in which she marries multiple Cuban styles with a panoply of Latin influences.

Son Latino is a Cuban music septet led by the artist, tres guitar player and singer Yarima Blanco.

Music group that, without leaving ist roots, identified itself as part of that new latin music wave, were seeking and finding other sonorities has offered a quarry of unlimited creative resources.

From a purely traditional music format, it presents sound is a fresh look and updated sonority that aproaches multiple latin and Caribbean genres, while illustrating all the timbric possibilities of the Cuban Tres guitar to adapt and be part of eacht of those rhythms.

Reaching other audiences is Yarima Blanco goal, in order to show all the musicality that has accompnied her since the beginnings in music and which has served as a basis for what her currently concerts program is.
