Utah based British and Sri Lankan ambient and lofi artist Fezmaster is a jazz trombonist and electronic music artist known for building his own synthesizers to generate musical soundscapes that he uses a grounding to improvised jazz trombone over. His music draws from many influences including trumpeter Toshinori Kondo, and US hip-hop artists from the Anticon label.

In 2022 and 2023 Fezmaster has released several cassette tape releases of his music, some of which is improvised electronics and trombone and some is more traditional lofi hiphop made with samplers. Some of these releases are "Unfezed", "Enso" and "Beats to Bone To, Volume One."

Fezmaster's approach to making music is to always include elements of improvisation and spontaneity that makes each performance and recording capture the spirit of the moment. This style of performance is heavily influenced by the paintings of shodo calligraphy, which the performer must be spontaneous and capture the moment into the art form. His approach to his releases is to not compose a song, but to build a machine or software that can generate from random sources the sounds and textures that evoke a certain feel and add his expression via slide or valve trombone. He prefers to record music in this fashion too, by recording direct to cassette tape with no editing so each release has the same feeling as a live performance.
