The first and homonymous album by Little Boys is a return to the inorganic, a full immersion of truth, without synthetic processing in the drafting and recording of the 16 tracks that make up the homonymous album as a pure project in the stylistic choice.
Little Boys are a Power Rock duo born in the winter of 2020 in Japan, after a bet on a plane flight: Elle on guitar/vocals and Esse on drums. They leave no statements about their relationship: friends, boyfriends, brothers? They love the blues and rock'n'roll, and that's enough. The infatuation for the vintage sound leads them to "Sotto il mare recording studios" in Verona, where for their first album they record sixteen pieces on 2" tape with Ampex 24 tracks. Thus their rock attitude, delta blues influences and acid-punk arrogance have a direct impact. The result is the homonymous Little Boys: a record full of truth, dust and sweat. Their way of composing follows a rigid paradigm, where there is a minimalism of the past which naturally also impacts on the image, with the predominance of black and white. Peaceful, quiet, introverted, judicious: Esse. Restless, histrionic and self-centered outgoing: Elle.
