The Majorcan musician Pere Bujosa (Palma) comes from a music-loving family. His music ranged from classical music to records by bands such as The Rolling Stones and Jimi Hendrix.
He began his musical training in Palma, at the age of eleven, initiating himself in the classical double bass.
At the same time, he became interested in modern music and began to study at the Factoría de Músicos, where he took electric bass lessons and played with groups of the local scene of the island such as Boc, Oprimidos, Matesound and Salvador Sobral, as well as participating as a studio musician in some recordings.
Later he decided to move to Barcelona, where he studied Modern Music and Jazz at the Conservatorio del Liceu. There he studied with some of the most renowned local musicians, such as H. Fumero, D. Mengual, Marc Miralta, Gary Willis or Liberto Fortuny, and attended masterclasses of artists such as Richard Bona, Chucho Valdés, Kenny Barron, Dave Holland, Kurt Rosenwinkel and John Patitucci, among others.
In 2014 he participated in an exchange program that allowed him to study at the University of North Texas (USA) and in 2016 he graduated in Jazz Performance at the Conservatorio del Liceo de Barcelona.
The same year he will make his debut as a leader with the album Who's Holland, which will take him to participate in festivals such as Festival Alternatilla and Alcudia Jazz.
