KENSHI YONEZU, born in 1991. A musician to come out of the internet. Illustrator. Starting out by posting Vocaloid tracks under the alias Hachi in 2009, Yonezu began his career under his real name Kenshi Yonezu in 2012. Known as an artist of many talents, Yonezu not only writes his own material but he also draws the illustrations to his album artwork and creates his own music videos. His smash hit “Lemon” ranked #1 on Billboard JAPAN?s annual cumulative charts for 2 years consecutively. Certified by the Japan Record Association for the fastest to achieve 3 million downloads and the music video breaking the Japanese record for the most views, the song has definitely left its mark on Japanese music history.
