Born and raised in Melbourne, SHANZ commenced vocal training sessions whilst a six-year-old primary student. SHANZ took her vocal training seriously and has maintained a wonderful relationship with her vocal coach over the past 16 years. SHANZ was always involved in school music productions & given any chance to sing SHANZ would.

"I started singing when I was able to talk, and I continued when I got older because I've had a lot of artists who have helped me through dark times with their music/lyrics and it made me want to do the same thing for at least one person"

Knowing she had the talent she was just waiting for the perfect opportunity to make her mark in the music world. SHANZ always had the dream to be a recording artist and finding PM Records to help her shine through to global success is just what she needed.

SHANZ has the drive and the passion to be Australia's Urban Princess, she even has the diamond in her cheek to sparkle.

"When I sing, I feel the happiest because I forget everything that's going on outside of the room I'm in and it relaxes me and helps me to let go of worries (unless baby makes me feel sick😂)

My first proper experience in a studio was amazing, everyone around me made me feel so comfortable and calm, it was a very professional environment and it made me feel somewhat of a VIP hahah "

The film clip was also an amazing experience, again a very professional environment, encouraging people around and really cheering me on made me feel so comfortable.

My motto is everything happens for a reason. I believe everything happens for something else to happen, good or bad there's always a lesson to be learnt.

In 5 years, I see myself with a young child, still making music and living a somewhat quiet and simple life, maybe living in Queensland 🥺❤️

SHANZ has just given birth to her baby daughter, Elsie and another new adventure in her life commences.
