Manny Hyuga is a 21yo guitarist from *$#%^*&, Colorado. Whenever he finds time between engineering classes at university, he's attempting to uncover never-before-heard chord progressions using techniques he picked up playing in smoky basement jazz sessions around Tokyo. "I f** around with all the different chords and rhythms I've ever learned until I land on something that strikes me, and then the words end up falling out my mouth where I catch them in my phone." Over the last few months, he's released a steady stream of numbered singles that indicate they're already lined up for an LP release. "yeah there's an album. Some days I'm just scared of how it will change my life once it's out, and scared of how my friends/family will perceive me differently when They hear what's really in my head. So if I'm going to risk everything by releasing the most vulnerable version of my Self, then I'm gonna want as many people to hear it as possible; otherwise it would be safer just keep it a secret." His debut record "Shine, Rodriguez" will release on July 28th 2022.
