JANiNA, consisting of guitarist Jan Møinichen and vocalist Nina Grobstok Lunderby, writes and produces the music that moves within the genres rock, pop rock and alternative rock.
While the duo is now releasing their first single "Alone", they already have a number of other songs underway and are planning their debut album.
The songs are recorded in Norsk Lydstudio with Peter Michelsen from the band Donkeyboy as mix- and mastering engineer.

The couple has very different musical backgrounds, which spice up the music with elements from different genres. Jan has experience as a songwriter, guitarist and vocalist in a heavy metal band. Inspired mainly by rock, hip hop, heavy metal and hardcore, but also pop rock and 80's synth pop.
Nina has long experience as front vocalist in a cover band and as a solo artist under the name
NiNA G. She is well versed in many genres such as rock, pop and country, with a penchant for classic Rock `n` roll. They are both ready to rock stages near and far with their genuine heartfelt music driven by passion and backed by good melodies.

JANiNA has a story to tell that they want to share from the heart through their songs.
Jan composes the music, while Nina is the lyricist and creates vocal melodies.
In their music production team, they also have Kristoffer Iversen, former bassist in the bluegrass band ILA Auto.

JANiNA's music is very genuine, Jan says. "Nina and her unique voice inspired me to make this music. I came in contact with another musical side of me that I have not previously allowed to shine through.
"Alone is very special to me, as it reminds me of the loss of a special person in my life".

The lyrics that Nina writes are based on both her own and other people's experiences.
"I embrace the roller coaster of life and people who have a story to tell. Darkness tends to fascinate me. I`m inspired by people who walk through storm after storm, coming out wise on the other side. Jan is one of those people", Nina says.
"Alone is about the day of reckoning. Having something unresolved and facing death alone because you may have made some wrong choices in life".
