Jumpscare is a melodic death metal band based in Naples (Italy).
Founded in November 2015 by the drummer Graziano Ciccarelli with his brother Salvatore Andrea (on bass) after Vincenzo Mussolino (on guitar) and Lorenzo Gallo (on vocals) joined the band. They started as a four-piece alternative metal.

After only 6 months, in April 2016, the band enters the studio for recording its first demo: "Three Marks Of Dreams" recorded and mixed at B-Side Music Recording Studio (Salerno, Italy).In June 2016 the band signed with the label B-SIDE Music."Three Marks Of Dreams" was out on 29th September 2016 via B-SIDE Music and distributed worldwide by Believe Digital Music.

"Three Marks Of Dreams" was classified bestseller for Amazon Music Italy in October 2016.

The band also started a collaboration with the electronic composer BORMANUS (founder of Betulla Records) and with the neo-folk composer T.Southgate (HERR, Seelenlicht, Von Thronstahl,Death in June and many others) for the unreleased intro track called "Chthonic Dreams"

Between the end of 2016 and the first months of 2017, the band was involved in the composition of their forthcoming release, in March 2017 the band enters again in studio for recording its first official Ep called "Sowing Storms" mixed at Cluster Studio (Naples, Italy) by Stefano Formato and mastered by Steve Corrao of SAGE AUDIO (Nashville, Tennessee, United States).

In June 2017 Jumpscare enters officially in the roster of Volcano Records and Promotion (Teodasia, DwithUs, DGM) and they released their latest work: Sowing Storms.

At the end of May 2017, Andrea Di Martino joined as the second guitarist of the band.

Jumpscare played and toured across Campania and all the Italian peninsula during the 2016/17 and also they were openers for bands and artists like Dreamshade, Edu Falaschi(Angra, Almah), Giacomo Voli(Rhapsody Of Fire), Secret Sphere, Arthemis, Despite Exile, Teodasia, DGM and many more!

They joined the underground festivals in their hometown of Napoli and also across Italy such as Volcano Rock Fest at LEGEND CLUB(Milan), Jobless Day and RoMetal Festival (Rome).

In January of 2018, they joined the force of IMPATTO ROCK MANAGEMENT, while they left Volcano Records to join in the Vault Lab Records and Promotion.

In October 2018 Lorenzo Gallo left the band due to artistic divergences and also for his decision to end his music career. After some weeks Ciro "Kirion" Silvano joined the band and started to working hard with the guys for their first album.

In January 2019 they were involved in the recording session of their first album: "Don't Close Your Eyes" in Crema, north of Italy at Sonitus Studio. Their album will be mixed, mastered and produced by Tommaso Monticelli (Genus Ordinis Dei).

During 2018/2019 they gained important endorsements contracts with renowned companies as Trick, Diril Cymbals, Janara Drums, Famous Stars and Straps (street team), Dirtbag Clothing, Explore Apparel, Skull Strings, Kingdom Guitars, Evo Drumsticks, Artbeat and more...

"Don't Close Your Eyes" was released in October 2019, and it gained lots of positive responses both from fans and to insiders of the music industry. It was released under an exclusive license with Vault Lab Recordings and it was promoted both via Dying Frontier Promotion (Asia, Middle East), Vault Lab PR (Europe) and Grand Sounds Promotion (Eu/Oceania/Worldwide) that worked bands like Batushka, Vader, Hecate Enthroned, Overkill (tour pr), Incantation (tour pr), to name a few.

"Don't Close Your Eyes" was considered as the top album of the year from many webzines (like "El Tio Melodeath" and Headbangers Latino America) and fans ranking it between bands like Arch Enemy, Amon Amarth, In Flames, Aephanemer, Cattle Decapitation just to name few.

In January 2020 they got the full endorsement and they become brand ambassadors of the brand INTEREMODEUS Clothing among artists and influencers like Jared Dines, Corpse Churn, etc...

They were chosen as official supporters of the UK's Metal Legends VENOM INC. during their BLOODSTAINED ITALIAN TOUR in march 2020 touring in the best Italian venues.

In April 2020 started a partnership with one of the most important wrestling federation of Italy and Europe: Italian Championship Wrestling aka I.C.W. , Jumpscare's music will be available for all the activities (including entrance themes, soundtrack for main events etc...) of the Italian Championship Wrestling
