Wagakki Band is a Japanese band that plays folk rock / folk metal music with wagakki (traditional Japanese musical instruments). Their debut album was released in April, 2014.

They describe themselves as a"New Sensation Rock Entertainment Band".

Their early songs were adapted from Vocaloid recordings but they have since written their own original music.

Their music videos for the songs "Tengaku" and "Senbonzakura" have attracted millions of views on YouTube.

They have played live in Asia, Europe, and the United States.

In Feb. 2020, they collaborated with vocalist Amy Lee from the Grammy Award winning band EVANESCENCE for a performance in Osaka.

In Oct, 2020 they release the album "Tokyo Singing" featuring the song "Sakura Rising" with Amy Lee from EVANESCENCE on vocals. A tour to promote the new album is also scheduled for Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya.
