Johnny Rocket is an American rapper, songwriter, model, and actor from the DMV area. Johnny initially gained recognition with the release of his DOPE album with his hit single "Distance Flickering" which he performed along with some of his other songs at the Fillmore in Silver Spring MD opening for Shy Glizzy. Following the success of DOPE, Johnny's collaboration with rapper 30H black, Shot Your Shot, was well received in the hip hop and rap community and further propelled Johnny to one of the top rappers in the MidAtlantic and West Coast. In 2017, Johnny released his acclaimed two-album TRIAL AND ERROR showing his multifaceted musical talents. Release after release, Johnny has captured the following of fans from mixed musical genre who enjoy the many facets of Johnny's music which provides a glimpse into the mind of a lyricist whose words takes you on a journey of love, hurt, emotional reflections, laughter, joy, and hit the floor dance songs. Johnny has appeared in several movies and was the guest rapper in the musical Johnny Vet: Freedom Isn't Free musical performing with the well-renowned West Point Alumni Glee Club and Legendary Soul Man Sam Moore.
