Transistor Girl

ARTIST Switzerland Electro Rock/Pop Alternative

ABOUT SHOW | HIDE

Since Chris Drew and Christophe Bugnon founded Transistor Girl, they released two EPs both in 2014. A minimalist sound allowing for Drew's soft melancholic vocals to ring out fully amidst the deep earthy sound of acoustic instruments.

After two years of writing and gigging in Switzerland, Germany and France, Drew and Bugnon were ready to go back into the studio to record Righteous-Sinner.

Timeless melodies, drenched in melancholic beauty: That's the right description for the music of Geneva's Transistor Girl. They've recently been described as a Swiss version of Radiohead, since they made quite a stir with their indie-hit "Quiet Regret" this summer. To date, the song has been tracked over 500 times in Radios throughout Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

With their new single -Come Back to me 2.0- Transistor Girl elevated their music to the next level. Transistor girl has found a new direction with a darker more electro sound. Come Back To Me 2.0 is the first track recorded with new band members Alex Rodrigues on keyboard and Christophe Calipini on drums. As the band started working on a live sound for their latest album "Righteous-Sinner", Come Back To Me 2.0 was the first to really develop a new sound which sets the trend for the new 4-piece version of Transistor Girl.
