In 2015, Frida Amani qualified and competed in the biggest singing competition in Tanzania called Bongo Star Search where she placed 3rd in the competition. This is Frida Amani second debut single in her professional career as a rapper after her first single called Jibebe was released in May 2018 under the same label she is signed with Mukii International and was a very successful single (made the top 20 most viewed youtube videos in Kenya), Most people compare her to Nick Minaj and lil kim for her style of Rap. Growing up, Frida Amani was inspired by Lauryn Hill and Kanye west to become a Hip hop artist. At the moment In East Africa she is now to be in the top three artist out of East Africa.
