Australian singer/songwriter Skii with her sultry, sassy voice has been likened to a cross between Tina Turner and Ella Fitzgerald. 

Skii is a lifelong singer/songwriter. She began her career huddled over an old upright piano squeezed into her mother’s small semi in Redfern, Sydney Australia, where their tiny porch had been converted into a makeshift bedroom. 

Her music has been recognised by Billboard Music Awards, the UK Songwriting Awards and she has been thrice awarded “Best Song” by the Australian Songwriter’s Association. She also received “Song of the Year” and “Producer’s Choice” at the LA Music Awards.

"Waiting" is the latest new single release for 2023 from her forthcoming album "Waiting". Skii’s music is always charged with emotional storytelling and her new track adds more fuel to the fire. "Waiting" the single was released back-to-back with "No Longer There" both tracks talk about loss, however in the track No Longer There, Skii allows the listener to interpret the loss, whereas with the track Waiting the listener finds the loss has found a new meaning. “Waiting” and “No Longer There” are the bridge between the “Broken” album, and the forthcoming album “Waiting” primed for a 2023 release. The four track EP Waiting reverberates “We can spend a lot of time waiting to live in life, but between life’s milestones are these gaps. And it’s most important to remember that we do a hell of a lot of living in those gaps. So do it all!”
