Fiver House Records was founded in 2009 in Bucharest, Romania, by saxophonist Mihai Iordache and his wife Nina.
We are primarily a Contemporary Jazz label, but we support any type of creative music, especially the music which remains outside of the mainstream. We support young artists and a lot of our releases are debut albums.
We concentrate on CDs and sometimes LPs. Most of our releases can also be downloaded digitally, at the best possible quality. We do not encourage streaming because, in our opinion, it devalues the music.
Some of our albums have been favorably reviewed by Jazz Hot (the oldest European jazz publication).
