A few words about me:
I am born February 17th, 1963, raised in Osnabrueck, Germany, and 1979, 16 years old, I had very few lessons with an very old piano teacher. His lessons were boring and I drove him crazy with my improvisations. After three months my parents decided to cancel those lessons. I was on my own and experimented with our Lowry home organ and Dad's Phillips tape machine. Mike Oldfield's "Tubular Bells" was a great inspiration, but without money for a 4-track-recorder and / or syntheziser and due to 4 years in military I lost interest in making music.
In 1987 I bought my first personal computer for studying economy, but later built in a midi card, which I bought in England. So I could install a sequencer software called prism and started making music again. My synth was a Yamaha TG 33 sound modul and I nearly forgot to study. I recorded some songs on tape, but life had a different path for me. Again I lost interest or simply had no time for music. May be it was a combination from both. Those old recordings are lost in the myths of time. I lived and worked in Bremen, Munich, Cologne and Frankfurt.
In all those years I heard and discovered various kinds of music. I am influenced very much from Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze and Jean-Michel Jarre. Alan Parsons Project, specially those instrumental tracks are on my playlist since years, but to be honest I love nearly every kind of music. Queen, Beethoven, Weather Report, Saga, Genesis, Klaus Doldinger, Supertramp, Keith Jarret, Deep Purple, The Who, Manfred Mann, Chuck Mangoine, Mezzoforte, AC/DC, Status Quo, Hans Zimmer, Thomas Bergesen ..... I cannot stop writing down, who I like. Beloved songs are "Music" from John Miles, "Cold as ice" from Foreigner, "Hold the line" from Toto and "Barracuda" from Heart, "Don't stop" from Fleetwood Mac, "I honestly love you" from Olivia Newton-John (My first love :-) ).......
Since many years I work as a personal coach, trainer and change manager. I love to help people. After many ups and downs in my life, for decades married with my dreamwoman and with my beloved son, end of 2018 I stumbled across an offer for Cubase. I bought and installed it onto my new dell laptop. After few clicks and some playing with an very cheap midi controller I was hooked up with those sound possibilities via an vst instrument. I love technology, which gave me a chance to make the music I alway wanted to do. And I love the internet too, because it is my way to come in contact with musicians, fans and media all over the world.
As composer, musician, recording artist and fan of Berlin School music since early seventies, I am heavy influenced by Tangerine Dream, Michael Garrison, Kitaro, space music, ambient,... Again there are too much names to write down. With small equipment in a small space I have to be creative and cannot rely on super expensive synthezisers, but I learned in life, that not equipment and certificates are sucessfull. It is the love you put into something. So I am playing and composing just with vst synthezisers and software. I can take my music laptop, a small keyboard, my headphones with me on my business trips and set it up in a hotel room. I think I mentioned it before: I love technology.
I reside in Tarmstedt, Lower Saxony, Germany where, in 2020, I established my home studio. I am a team player at work, but in my creative process I need lonlyless and I feel the need to own and control my own creative work. May be in future I will collaborate with other artits, but for now I love to work alone. In 2021 I released my first albums at Bandcamp and nearly in every free minute I am sitting in my studio playing and recording my music. There are too many ideas and projects, but I am in no rush. I am thankfull for getting my chance to follow my bliss. Even if it is probably too late to become a world wide music star. Anything is okay, just the way it is.
