Scott Vanover is a indie artist/producer from Seattle Washington. He got his start in and out of rock bands from 2001-2013. During this time he recorded 1 demo titled "Windows in time" featuring 3 garage style rock songs with a band called Defiant Souls and a 10 track album titled "Love after death" that included a home made youtube music video of the song "My ex girlfriend" with the band called Outpost. During his years with the band Defiant Souls he had the prevelage of performaning shows at open mic sessions at local bars. After the release of the bands demo the band embarked on a small Washington tour to showcase their work at selected venues. The band signed a consignment deal with hastings music stores to sell their music in the stores local music section at $4.99 a cd. The cd would sell 6 copies before the band disbanded. The band also had offers from Chamberlain music group from Los Angeles California, Booking through ERC bookings in Spokane Washington, and radio airplay offer from The Eagle 106.5 in Tri-cities Washington. During his short years with Outpost the band had no offers.
In 2020 Scott Vanover decided to pursue a solo career as a producer and took to messing around with Electronic music software and audio workstations mixing samples and loops together he would listen to on music apps to create songs. On december 22 2020 he released his first EDM style song called "Get up off the floor" to world indie radio station Spotlight radio. The song immediately gained world attention and became a top10 hit on Australian radio stations. He todate has released and scored 8 more top10s on Australian radio and has scored two #1s with his songs "Jump up on this" and "Do you know where (You are going)". He has also charted on pre billboard playlist charts and radio chart watch sites. He has released 1 EP titled "Journey through time" a sci-fi 5 track space themed Ep. |
