Always special and always with catchy basses Michael Martin, self chosen Berlin citizen, is forming whispering sounds and tekky rhythms into a phenomenal finish.  He began mixing 90#s Hip Hop and Oldschool 'n Funk tunes for friends and symphatisants on parties around Zwickau (Saxony- eastern Germany) in the first decade of our new century. Already in the first year of his new appeal (2007) he was elected "Rookie of the month" by the Jam FM committee and he got the possibility to play his live set at the Coke DJ culture. Michael Martin aka k'doc celebrated his first successes as a DJ collaborating Hip Hop Crews during the following years and he also earned the 4th place at radio Energy's Dj contest during "Tag der Sachsen". In his new home Berlin not just the wallpapers and the lifestyle changed. "Just what changes can last" was always, and will always be the slogan of this extra ordinairy talent. With his new synonym "MiMA“ Michael is also devoted to harder beats since a few years without denying his musical roots. His new base is electronic. He plays genres like Minimal, Techno and Techhouse without losing the sense for melody and composition. Technoid basses with deep vocals and twittering snares are transforming to a brilliant listening experience with a lot love for details and a perfect technical finish. He produces soft, lightweight and swinging sounds that are literally gliding away under your feet but also stamping and ostentatious, even industrial appearing compositions that are digging into the ears of his listeners with joy. Always danceable, always up to the trend Michael Martin is using every opportunity to do music with courage, fun and concentration. Music became one of his biggest aspects of his identity. You don't just listen, you can live his music. It is not 100percent clear when his first EP will be released but one thing is clear. We will look after that like a hunting animal its prey.
