Kaki Music is a 'one stop shop' collaboration between British and French musicians Kathy Brown and Kiki Aublette. Both are composers and multi-instrumentalists who share a love of music creation, with Kiki's versatile musical talents also matched by a proficiency with studio technology. Writing and producing in London, Kaki has produced an extensive portfolio of instrumental music and songs across a wide range of genres.

Both musicians were born the same year on opposite sides of the Channel and their paths later crossed on the continent. Kiki had studied at the Academie De Musique (Foundation Prince Rainier Iii) in Monaco. A drummer and bass player, with keyboard proficiency too, Kiki grew up inspired by a father who wrote big band arrangements and performed with the likes of Frank Sinatra. Kiki's own performance credits include Lionel Richie, Andrea Bocelli, Shirley Bassey and the Jazz legend John McLaughlin who also wrote a track dedicated to him on his Black Light album. In addition to producing and playing, Kiki is also a part-time drum professor at the Monaco Conservatoire where he loves coaching the next generation of players.

Kathy studied piano at The Birmingham Conservatoire, but mid-course, switched her focus to violin, graduating with honours, winning the Dean's Prize and being selected to represent Lord Yehudi Menuhin's LIve Music Now scheme. She was then offered a post-graduate place at Berklee School of Music in Boston. Kathy went on to be the first female electric violinist to play at London's Ronnie Scotts and worked as a professional freelancer with British companies that included the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, the London Mozart Festival Players, The English National Touring Opera and the Royal Shakespeare Company. Kathy ultimately segued into technology, a move which also relocated her to New York City for almost a decade. She has since returned to her both her geographical and vocational roots in London where she now focuses on composition and songwriting.
