717 Mafia (also known as Dauphin Mob,) is an American hip-hop group from Hummelstown, Pennsylvania , started by A-V in mid- 2004. They are known for bringing in humor to hip-hop, starting out doing parody covers to popular songs in the early 2000�s, along with being battle rappers with various disses throughout their careers.
717 Mafia started out as �The Dauphin Mob� as far back as 2003 when the trio were in primary school. The switch to �717 Mafia� was permanent by 2005, after the rappers added the engineer Jeff Audio to their team & member A-V launched Aftershock Records in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, in the spring of 2005. Most of their early works included parodies, humorous skits & cover songs, along with conflict with diss records aimed at other artists, like Jalen McMillan for an example. |
